ITM Clyde went home I paid him $1.00. Charles went with milk we stoped up town & 5 points got 1 1/2 qt oysters .80. PM Cooper & I cut wood over here in woods.

December 23, 1934: Maxwell 1 can pineapple .19
ITM stoped Maxwell 1 can pineapple .19 & at garage got tire changed 5 gal gas in the Buick 1.35. We made ice cream. Clyde & Lester have gone to a show. to night tem 34 wind blowing from south.

December 22, 1934: Raymond Gertrude & I went to Auburn got Christmas things
TTM R done chores. Clyde & I went to woods cut wood til noon. Clyde drew out load manure. Raymond Gertrude & I went to Auburn got gro and Christmas things. Carl & Charles went got sheep at W Chamberlains at noon pd 3.00 for it alive.

December 21, 1934: pulled down 3 trees with horses
TTM we got chores done & load manure on night pasture. went to woods cut wood. Cooper dident help in the AM, Raymond sick. Clyde & I took team went to woods & Cooper came up. pulled down 3 trees with horses. out till 3:30 PM than went to Coopers finished buzing his wood.

December 18, 1934: took Ethel & Charles to Auburn shopping
TTM, I took Ethel & Charles to Auburn shopping. drove Florence’s car. Clyde cleaned stalls & helped Cooper draw down 4 trees that would not fall. I got 5 gal gas of Carl for Buick .75. We cut wood with Cooper til 3PM in Hoyts woods than cut up all down trees in 4 acre [...]

June 2, 1933: went to Auburn got drivers license
Clyde finished cultivating corn & potatoes & started over corn again. I cultivated corn & potatoes west of house. went to Auburn got drivers license. took parts up to 2d lot set 2, sowed onion seed in garden.
