April 27, 1934: drew 3 ton 10% Fer from Sennett

TTM starting plowing corn ground second lot south of barn made 11 rounds around it.   PM R draged on oat ground while I drew 3 ton 10% Fer from Sennett 1 ton to Hoyts 2 ton here, Copper helped bage it.

I have been puzzling over the initials ITM and TTM. Grampa uses PM for afternoon and evening. I wonder if ITM is “in the morning” and TTM is “top of the morning”?

“When you wish some one the “Top of the Morning” you are wishing them the best part of the morning. To which they should reply, “and the rest of the day to yourself.” This is wishing you a good rest of the day.” Wiki Answer

The expression apparently came from New Zealand and not Ireland. Irish do not use the phrase in common language but the expression can be found in literature and theater as a representation of what the Irish would say.
