April 12, 1934: snowed last night & to day ground white

TTM came early wasent ready done milking.  snowed last night & to day ground white not below frezing.  R&I cleaned stalls.  I came to house to fix up my books.  Hunter brought (poor) ger cow & took blue cow.  (I went over and settled with Mrs Hoyt.  Bills of Dr Turill 4.00.  J Davis hay 44.00, wheat 81.34 at 85 per bu 115.23, Due Mrs Hoyt on milk 25.09 to April 2.  Pd Her $58.70)  Sent battery out to garage by Carl.  Lester here tonight wants to get room & supper.

    Was the “blue cow” depressed or out in the winter cold too long?
